New Christmas Lights For Godalming
The new set of Godalming Christmas Lights, kindly sponsored by local organisations in 2010, will create another dazzling display for Godalming Town Centre. Glittering icicle lighting transformed Bridge Street, Wharf Street, Queen Street, the High Street, Church Street and up towards the High Street’s junction with Flambard Way.
The lights combine new LED and more eco-friendly bulbs and are sponsored by local organisations and businesses. They will be officially turned on for the 2011 Christmas Festival at 17.00pm in a special ceremony.
Sponsorship opportunities
Godalming’s Christmas lights have been paid for by a large majority of independent traders and a major sponsor, The Charterhouse Club. Tim Herdman-Grant the Club's Manager said “we are delighted again to be involved in the Godalming Christmas Festival and light switch on. Come down and see us at the Christmas Market along with Eagle Radio’s Love Crew and find out what Charterhouse or call us on tel 01483 239600".
A big thank you to the following organisations, whose major contribution have made the Christmas Lights possible. There are still sponsorship opportunities and if you are interested in supporting Godalming's Christmas Lights, please email Ian Thomson
